Terms of sale
Buying Aurator, plainly.
Last updated 28 September 2026.
What you buy
Aurator is a Mac app made by ndmr.au in Queensland, Australia. You can use all of it free for seven days. After that, one payment buys a licence key for the plan you choose, US$29 for one Mac, US$49 for up to three Macs, or US$69 for every Mac signed in to your Apple account. It is not a subscription, and every plan includes every update.
Prices are in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount and may charge for that. Checkout, your receipt and your invoice name the seller as Digital Products, the business behind Aurator, and your card statement shows the word AURATOR.
You can move a key to a bigger plan at any time and pay only the difference, by card. The key stays the same.
A promotion code comes as a link from us. The link opens Checkout with the code already applied, and Checkout has no box to type a code. If a code cannot be used, Checkout says why before you pay, and the price shown is the one you pay.
Refunds
If Aurator is not right for you, ask within 30 days of a payment and we refund that payment in full. No reason is needed. The purchase and each upgrade count on their own, each with its own 30 days. To ask, write to hello@tryaurator.app, or reply to your receipt email.
When a purchase is refunded, its key is switched off, and the licence leaves your Macs at their next daily check. An upgrade paid for on that key is a payment of its own, and it is not refunded automatically. If you would like it refunded too, ask us, as with any payment.
When only an upgrade is refunded, the key goes back to the plan it had before. If it then holds more Macs than that plan allows, the Macs activated first keep it, and the others lose the licence within about two days, at the second daily check that finds them missing.
If we agree to refund only part of a payment, the key stays switched on and keeps its plan.
If you dispute a payment with your bank instead, then while the chargeback is open the key is switched off, or for a disputed upgrade it goes back to the plan it had before, and it comes back if the chargeback ends with the payment kept. A question from your bank about a payment, before any chargeback, leaves the key as it is. Please write to us first, a refund is quicker for everyone.
These terms do not take away any rights you have under consumer law, in Australia or where you live.
Your key
Please keep your key to yourself. It works on the Macs your plan covers, and you can move it to another Mac by clicking Deactivate this Mac in Settings, Licence on the old one. If you lose it, tryaurator.app/recover sends it again to the email you paid with.
What Aurator sends when it checks your key is explained on the privacy page.
